I started this blog while living in Portland, Oregon. I had learned how to crochet hats and found the process creative and meditative. One sunny afternoon while crocheting in a park downtown, a kid on a skateboard asked me, “Is that one of your passions?” His comment made me realize that I wanted promote that idea. I decided to start this blog to explore creative passions. For me, its all about color, shape and texture.

Community Acupuncture Cooperative
Working Class Acupuncture founders Lisa Rohleder and Skip Van Meter teach workshops on how to start your own community acupuncture clinic all over the country. People often come to Portland to check out the mother-ship WCA-Cully...WCA-Hillsdale & very soon to open WCA-Lents. Today, Allison Ottley of Qi Works Community Acupuncture visited us. Sharing resources, ideas and systems is a big part of community acupuncture as well helping to create sustainable businesses and jobs for acupuncturists. Allison couldn't leave Portland without a hat, well, actually two hats.
